Based in North Wales, we provide UKAS accredited test equipment calibration services across the UK and Ireland. Our technicians have years of experience in calibrating RF and microwave instruments. Depending on your needs, you can choose either a standard or a UKAS calibration. Our calibration range for both is DC – 26.5 GHz. You’ll find a table of calibration capabilities on our Calibration Laboratory page.

We provide three different types of calibration service; Basic Calibration, Express Calibration and On-Site Calibration.

What is UKAS accreditation?

The United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) is the only organisation recognised by Government to accredit calibration activities in both the private and public sectors against the ISO/IEC 17025 standard.

This international standard sets out what is required of a laboratory in order for it to demonstrate the technical competence of its staff and the availability of all the technical resources needed to produce reliable data and results for a defined set of tests, measurements or calibrations.

As well as the technical requirements, the ISO/IEC 17025 standard further requires that the management systems of the laboratory in question meet the principles of ISO 9001.

ISO 9001 is a standard for quality management systems applicable to all organisations in general, regardless of their size or what product or service they provide. Because ISO 9001 only looks at management systems, certification against this standard alone is no guarantee that your chosen calibration lab has the necessary technical competence to produce valid and accurate data and results.

Formal recognition by UKAS gives our customers complete assurance that their calibrations are carried out to the correct degree of accuracy.
